Welcome to Beaumaris North Primary School
Beaumaris North Primary School has been an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School since December 2010. Beaumaris North Primary School offers the IB Primary Years Programme, for students aged 3 to 12, which focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside.
Beaumaris North Primary School is a dynamic and progressive school located in a quiet, treed, residential Bayside suburb about 20 kilometres south east of Melbourne. The school has Interactive Whiteboards (IWB's) in all learning spaces and multiple pods of laptops that transform any learning space into a wireless digital communication hub. In 2010 Years 5 and 6 moved into our new federally funded flexible Learning Space which is currently being enjoyed by our students. The Prep classes and Year 4 students are also exploring the benefits of new open learning environments.
In 2011, we have 26 grades with an enrolment of 590. Staffing comprises 43 Teaching Staff and 18 Education Support Officers including Administrative Staff, Outside School Hours Care Staff, Library Technician, Speech Therapist Assistant, Canteen Manager, Integration Aides and the School First Aid Officer.
